Hola, amigos,
Given all the attention that Beauty Tips For Ministers is getting these days, I will be taking a little break from this blog.
If anything totally inspiring comes to mind, I'll be sure to share it.
I'm off to church for a midday service to get smeared on the forehead and reminded that I'm mortal but that I get to spend my eternity with God.
It's one of my favorite holy days.
Peace.Bang.

Will you be dressing in tones that accentuate the ash, or cover it up?
Now, Enforcer. You know me better than that.
I'm sitting right here feeling very grateful for the midday Ash Wednesday service I just attended. And I got to have lunch with Philocrites afterwards.
I loved what you said about being reminded that you are mortal but get to spend your eternity with God. What a lovely way to put it! I liked it so much that I referred to it in my blog post about Ash Wednesday.
I think it is imperative, not to mention important that we do not neglect our Christian heritage.
We cannot afford to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
We may consider ourselves true christians in that we rejected the idea that Jesus of Nazareth was God in human form, but we must not neglect the importance of ritual and forget that we once, were a Christian denomination.
Kudos to you, Peace Bang.
I'll miss you. Have fun!
