Yesterday I heard on the news that there were "suspicious devices" found all over Boston. I got nervous. I forgot about it. Today, I learned all about it:

Given this, I'd say that the cops somewhere would react this way was entirely foreseeable. (And indeed, the resulting publicity may have been the objective in the first place.)
I certainly hope that Cartoon Network plans to pay these kids' legal fees.
