"American Idol" Moment

Simon Cowell and I have disagreed for the first time!! Not that I watch this show often (like twice or three times a year), but I generally LOVE Simon!

I am on the couch curled in the fetal position and whimpering.

P.S. Katherine McPhee, you were NOT "manic and shrieky." You killed in that first Elvis montage, and that last dance move was brazilliant! I didn't even care when you ran out of breath and dropped a lyric.

Another UU who will admit to watching TV. And something not on PBS! Well, I already adored you, now it's official.

I think it was Machiavellian efforts at work. He wants Elliot to stay on the show, so, whittle away at Katherine, and try to banish Grey-Soul.

Lizard, when I graduated from Div School my Mom gave me a big TV and said, "Honey, you need to watch more TV."

I don't watch much prime time but I'm TRYING! I hope it won't disappoint you when I admit that I watched "House" (for the first time) while simultaneously reading a book about 17th century ministers.

I have officially lost the "McPhee-ver." She was out of tune on both songs tonight and her first song last week just sucked. However, her version of "Black Horse and a Cherry Tree" was better than the original.

I think she's gotten worn out by the competition. She doesn't need to win to make it as a singer at this point, so I won't be too sad if she goes next week. At this point it's her or Elliot - he keeps picking sort of obscure things and then putting waaaaay too many runs in them. He should go make a jazz record with Paris.

To me, Taylor Hicks is the best entertainer of the bunch - I personally hope he wins.

I do enjoy watching (umm, I mean "listening to") Katherine.
