Outside of Broux Bridge
When we drove out to Avery Island on Saturday to visit the Tabasco factory, we saw some of the residual damage from Hurricane Rita, who was terribly upstaged by her terrible sister, Katrina. Those two bitches.

Wow, I am assuming from your post that Avery Island and the Tabasco Company is still functioning??? That has always been a pilgrimage I wanted to make--never have and wondered now if I ever could. Perhaps it is still an option.
I have long been a fan of capsicum as a healing agent. Right now using capsicum oleoresins is the major reason I can walk without pain; this is the form of a topical cream. I take super hot peppers in capsules, I make, for pain control as well. Peppers are for LIFE.

YES, and worth a pilgrimage only in that you can buy every kind of hot sauce at the end of it! And many Tabasco-oriented products!
I got some super hot habanera sauce that I'm not likely to ever use: I should send it to you, or maybe there's some medicinal use I haven't thought of? Like dousing on my head when I don't feel well?
