I will NOT put the down comforter back on my bed. I will shiver (bravely) and insist that spring is here. And I will continue to curse the false prophets of WBUR, who keep claiming every morning that it's going to be warm. What warm? What orb do they orbit?
(During the brief interruption of winter on Monday, Mrs P and I ran into Mr and Mrs Prophet Motive in the Arnold Arboretum. How lovely to eat lunch outside! Would you believe that I had never been to the Arboretum before? Shame on me. We decided if we were only going to get a day and a half of good weather in all of May, by gum we were going to find some nature to enjoy it in. That Arboretum is some mighty fine urban nature, too. I recommend it for the next picnic.)
